More animals are killed for human food than for any other purpose. South Africa’s industrial farming systems confine layer hens in battery cages, gestate sows in crates barely larger than their bodies, separate dairy calves from their mothers at birth, and slaughter chickens at six weeks old. Beauty Without Cruelty advocates for plant-based diets and for humane, regenerative farming where animals are kept. We work with producers, restaurants, and retailers across the country to expand access to cruelty-free food options.
