What happens after I donate?
Your donation is processed securely by PayFast (South Africa's leading payment gateway). You'll receive an email confirmation immediately. Where a receipt can be issued, our team will email it to the address you provide.
Can I get a Section 18A tax receipt?
Beauty Without Cruelty South Africa is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 002-882). If you would like a Section 18A receipt, please indicate this when donating and provide your details. Receipts are issued subject to BWC's current SARS approval status.
How is my donation used?
BWC operates with low overheads, so the majority of every rand supports our four core programmes: campaigning against animal cruelty, the Humane Guide brand endorsement programme, public education, and policy advocacy. We publish annual financial reports for full transparency.
Can I set up a monthly donation?
Yes. Select “Monthly” on the donation form before submitting. Monthly donors are the backbone of our work — predictable income lets us plan multi-year campaigns rather than reacting month-to-month.
Can I donate in another currency?
Donations through this page process in South African Rand (ZAR). International supporters can reach us through the contact options on our Get Involved page to arrange alternative giving methods including international wire transfer or PayPal.
How do I cancel or update a recurring donation?
Get in touch through our Get Involved page with your request. Include the email address you used when donating and we'll confirm the change within 2 working days.
